People We Serve

01. Veterans

Veterans are individuals who have served in the military, dedicating their time and efforts to protect and defend their country. Their service often involves sacrifices, and they are honored for their bravery, commitment, and contributions.

02. Sober Living/Substance Abuse Disorder

People who have struggled with addiction to drugs or alcohol and are actively working to maintain sobriety.

03. People Experiencing Homelessness

People experiencing homelessness are individuals who lack stable, safe, and adequate housing. This can result from a variety of factors, including financial hardship, job loss, mental health issues, substance abuse, or lack of affordable housing.

04. People With Low Income

People with low income are individuals or households that earn an amount of money below a certain threshold, making it difficult to meet basic needs such as housing, food, healthcare, and education.

05. People On SSI/SSDI

People on SSI (Supplemental Security Income) and SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance) are individuals who receive financial assistance from the U.S. government due to disabilities or limited income.

06. Ex-Offenders

Ex-offenders are individuals who have been convicted of a crime, served their sentence, and are reintegrating into society after their release from prison or jail. After serving time, many face challenges such as finding stable employment, rebuilding relationships, and adjusting to life outside of incarceration.

07. Parolees

Parolees are individuals who have been released from prison before completing their full sentence, under specific conditions set by a parole board. Parole is typically granted based on the individual's behavior while incarcerated, their perceived risk to society, and their plans for reintegration.

08. Rapid Re-Housing

Rapid re-housing provides short-term rental assistance and services. The goals are to help people obtain housing quickly, increase self-sufficiency, and stay housed.

Our homes provide a structured environment where residents do not have to worry about unpaid bills resulting in their housing utilities being shut off. Chores are divided, and there are weekly/monthly/as-needed peer support house meetings to ensure all residents maintain a clean and uplifting living arrangement. Another great thing about our homes is the sense of friendship and community. Living with others who are facing similar challenges creates a strong support network.

Residents encourage and help each other, which can make tough times a little easier. Feeling part of a group can also make people feel less isolated and more connected. Sharing a bedroom might be new for some, but it comes with benefits. It helps residents learn to live together peacefully and respect each other’s space. For those who once had no home, having a shared room in a safe house is much better than being on the streets. It offers privacy and security that they might not have had before. Our sober living homes are managed under room license agreements, like hotels, ensuring we can maintain a safe space for all residents.

Should issues arise, we work with local shelters to ensure individuals in need are properly supported. Most individuals with special needs across the country receive an SSI and/or SSDI check of $550 to $1,000 per month. This small amount makes it nearly impossible to live independently, even when sharing a space with someone else. Additionally, bills often get overlooked or go unpaid, which prevents clients from focusing on their primary goal—getting well. Instead, they are left worrying about their electricity being shut off, rent not being paid, or whether their roommate has contributed their share.

Our affordable housing offers a solution while creating a stable environment that provides time and space to heal. One of the key benefits of living in Restoration Regulator’s sober living homes is affordability. Housing costs like rent and utilities are spread across residents which makes living here much cheaper than living alone. This is a big help for people who might struggle to afford their own place. Safety is a priority at Restoration Regulator’s sober living homes. The houses have rules to keep the environment secure and supportive for everyone. These rules include staying sober, which helps maintain a healthy and safe space for all residents. And there is 24/7 monitoring both inside and outside of the building to help secure both security and safety.
